About Oprah From Her Own Mouth

Sunday, December 7, 2014
Probably you already know more about Oprah Winfrey than what you will find in this article or video, but don't we want to have the good things again and again?

That's not the main issue, however. The main challenge here is to make oneself understand "why about her" in a blog that's supposed to write about "Astral Projection?" What's the link between a TV talk show host and "Astral Projection?"

Well then, if that's the question it's a fair one.

1. "Astral Projection" is not an incident, it's a process.

The common perception about any incident is that that happens. At some random time, at some random occasion, that just happens. Accidentally!

There are no accidents.

All such fortunate or unfortunate accidents are a result of years of aware or unaware preparation.Whatever we get  are what we always wanted, consciously or unconsciously. We have paid for it in terms of time and energy. All accidents are always fully paid for.

2. To cut the undesirable out of the outcome, we have to shape our preparation so that we can shape the outcome to our utmost liking. The preparation is a complex process and a very monotonous one. We are prone to errors at each step, so we can make it easy for us if we use beacons at regular intervals.

We must use beacons that are tried and true to what they stand for. False beacons are as dangerous as no beacons.

Let me narrate a story I read when I was a kid.

There use to be a shallow patch full of rocks in a sea trade route. Ships with new captains or experienced captains in a stormy weather used to shipwreck almost always. So, affected people  built a beacon with a ringing bell. The tall waves used to keep the bell ringing. Now the ships were able to steer away from the rocks even when the sea was rough.

Now the twist. There used to be pirate who used to hang around in his pirate ship to collect the booty from the wrecking ships. The "Ringing bell" affected his business and he cut off the bell one day so that he can have business as usual.

His complacency -- he can always steer clear off the rock because he knew the area so well.

As a turn of fate, the pirate captain wrecked his ship on a rough weather day and went down with all his crew.

Morale: Those who are too complacent to use beacons sooner or later fall a victim to their own complacency.

Beacons are for all times but they are a must during rough times.

3. Oprah Winfrey has walked the talk again and again. She had her share of faults and triumphs but she always learned something from both. She had traveled a long way to reach where she is now. She radiate confidence and a rare maturity in her every word she speaks.

She believes in keeping her cup full and overflowing so that she can always give as much as she can, without going dry.

Reading and watching her speak can only enrich one who is in search of the essence of life and living.

In this video spanning little over an hour you can get a very classic case of rags to prosperity / fullness. Watch it, and hope you will get more than you invest.

Proof or hallucination? Ohio Trucker Explains 45 Minutes of Death

Sunday, October 26, 2014
Skeptics, non-believers, atheists, or scientists --call them what you may. A certain group of people always demanded that there is no proof of life after death. They always asked for more proof, whatever proof existed never looked enough for them.

How much Proof  is enough?

It is time, the so-called rational people explain this. This would explain what contradicts their hypothesis of nonexistence of life after death. Nonexistence of spirit!

Let them explain how this is possible what happened in the following case.

Brian Miller, 41, an Ohio Trucker was clinically dead for 45 minutes. There is no oxygen to his brain for 45 minutes because its heart rate was zero.

"He had no heart rate, he had no blood pressure, he had no pulse, for 45 minutes!” said ICU nurse Emily Bishop.

After he revived, he became absolutely normal.

How can human brain stay in normal if it does not receive oxygen supply for 45 min at a stretch?

But, that's not all. What follows is stranger than any scientific hypothesis.

In an interview to Fox News, Miller said that he slipped away into a celestial world.

“The only thing I remember I started seeing is the light, and started walking towards the light.”

He described walking down a flower-lined path into white light — until he came upon his step-mother, who had died recently, “She was the most beautiful thing when I have seen her, it was like the first day I met her, she looked so happy.” Then she grabbed his arm and told him, "It’s not your time, you don’t need to be here, we’ve got to take you back you’ve got things to go and do.”

Then Miller revived and came back. In the first video below, his wife recounts his first words after he
returned after 45 minutes of clinical death.

The FOX News Video of Brian Miller and Roberta Miller

He is not the only one. In the video below you can watch the compilation of experiences of many such people who narrate their sensations, first hand. In little more than 26 minutes you can see a pattern in their experiences.

Now what do we call them? Proofs or hallucinations?

Life After Death Proved

Wednesday, October 22, 2014

"Yes, there is life after death and it looks like this applies to everyone,” said Dr. Berthold Ackermann on 29 August, 2014 morning in a press conference at Berlin.

In the same press conference he added:

“I know our results could disturb the beliefs of many people. But in a way, we have just answered one of the greatest questions in the history of mankind, so I hope these people will be able to forgive us."

His announcement comes after 4 years of research with a team of psychologists and medical doctors associated with the Technische Universität of Berlin.

The clinical experimentation was solely aimed at finding out if there is existence of some form of life after death.

Their study used a new type of medically supervised near-death experiences. They used this method to allow patients to be clinically dead for approximately 20 minutes before the team brought them back to life in a clinical process.

This process may be a bit controversial for the reason that they used some very complex mixture of drugs including Epinephrine and Dimethyltryptamine. The purpose of these drugs is to allow the body to survive the damage that may come from the state of clinical death and the reanimation process.

Once the induction of the state of clinical death was achieved, the body of the subject was then put into a temporary comatic state induced by a mixture of some other drugs. After approximately 18 minutes of the clinical death state these drugs had to be filtered by ozone from the subject's blood stream to start the reanimation process.

They have studied 944 volunteers in those four years from different religious faiths and backgrounds -- Christian, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, and atheists. Surprisingly, the religious beliefs of the various subjects seems to have held no difference at all, on the experiences and sensations of the participants as recorded immediately after the experiment.

There were minor variations from one subject to another, but it's noteworthy that all of the subjects have memories of their period of clinical death. If death is the end and there is no life after that it's impossible to have memories after death.

But, that didn't happen. Not only they had memories of their death, they had experiences after death too. A vast majority of them described same very sensations.

Following are the most common memories:

  • Feeling of detachment from the body
  • The presence of an overwhelming light
  • Feelings of levitation
  • Feeling of total serenity, security, and warmth
  • The experience of absolute dissolution

Now can we call it proof of  life exists after death?

I know there would be people who would contest this conclusion, but what matters is what you think. What would you do today if you know that what we call death is not the end of life? What if Life continues after Death?

This is not the first time we had such proof. There had been reports of numerous cases of OBE or Near Death Experiences.

Such experiences have been rejected as hallucinations. They had been hypothesized by so called scientists as unreal and as mere subjective experiences. Our medical journals have articulated many such hypotheses in the past. Perhaps, Dr. Ackermann and his team are the first scientific team to consider them as evidence for the existence of some sort of afterlife. Lastly, what it matters is, if you are ready to accept the presence of spirit, and the dualism between spirit and body.

Is It Possible To Astral Project?

Sunday, October 19, 2014

Yes. It is possible to astral project. In a hypothetical way, it is possible for everybody to astral project.

Before we go any further, I want to draw a distinction between astral projection and lucid dreaming.

Lucid dreaming is a deep meditative state where people achieve a deep calming state of their mind. In such a state they can observe the thoughts going through their mind. Thoughts are dimensional, they can create perceptions of site, taste, smell, and auditory perceptions. There are other dimensional is to thoughts also, the more one Explores the more one can find.

Lucid dreaming can create perceptions of different worlds, and different beings but they are dreaming states. They cannot be compared to astral projection.

Astral projection, on the other hand, is a projection of one's consciousness into different planes of existence. Here two things come into question:

First, is it a projection of one's consciousness or something else? Some people think it's a projection of one's soul. I do not want to go into details about this in this particular article. Let this be the subject of another article. But, during astral projection we project our consciousness, our whole being.

Second, do we have any control over the projection?  In simple terms, can somebody die if they can't come back?

The answer is they actually don't leave in the true sense. When a radio station transmits, the signal reaches the destination, but the radio station doesn't physically don't travel there. It's not exactly the correct analogy, but something similar.

Is it possible to astral project without knowing?

It is generally believed in esoteric circles that we astral project during our sleep at night. When disturbed and we have to retract our consciousness, it takes approximately 2 - 5 seconds for a full retraction. However, it's not conscious, it happens as a natural phenomenon.

Feelings of falling from higher places, roaming in strange twilight zones and flying like a bird without wings are some of the indications of an astral projection.

These feeling may be pleasant or may be fearful, but they are the residual experience of a recent projection.

There is another type of projection where people project consciously, whenever they desire. These projections are not common. One has to prepare over a period of time to achieve this.

Is it possible to astral project while awake?

Yogis, esoteric masters, and people with special abilities can astral project at will. Whether it is day or night it hardly matters to them. They are so adept that they can astral project to different planes simultaneously. In plain words, they can be at 10 or 20 different places at a point of time. It sounds incredible because such people are so rare and hard to find.

You should because us with people those who have similar claims. Most of the time you'll be frustrated what you'll find when you cross check them. But this doesn't disprove that astral projection is not possible and it cannot be done during waking.

Is it possible to astral project with a friend?

Hypothetically this is possible too if your friend and you both are experts in this matter. There is a mention of such an instance in the book "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahamsa Yogananda.

Some people may argue that there is no proof that whatever he mentioned is true. Maybe. But that is their problem. If you cannot believe something to be true it can never achieve it.

Then, how can we learn astral projection? Remember what Socrates told to the seeker of knowledge?

"The day you seek knowledge like you seek oxygen now, knowledge will automatically come to you."
So, seek earnestly, seek fervently, and seek with all your intentions. Even if you fail there is no shame. Better to aim high and fail rather than aim low and succeed.

Update:

On hind-sight I thought of giving the links for this book. You can read these books. Follow the links and look inside. They are in amazon.

Carrot clarinet: Linsey Pollak at TEDxSydney 2014

Monday, October 13, 2014
You must have seen Carrot and I'm sure you know what a Clarinet is too. What the following video is about is how  Linsey Pollak takes an average size carrot and manufactures his Clarinet on spot at TEDxSydney 2014.

Within 5 minutes he plays the masterly melody from the stage to the cheers of an expectant audience below.

But before we start watching the video I want to share a few words with you.

What this incident has to do with "Astral Projection?"

Most of the people who fail to start their astral journey do actually find it hard to believe that such a thing as spirit exists.

Where is the proof that spirit exists?

When we can't believe something, how can we start working on that?

But I ask here a question.

Where did the music  Linsey Pollak played from that stage came from?

The Carrot?
The mouthpeice of the Clarinet?
From  Linsey Pollak?
Or from some place different?

You need not answer that question to me. All you have to do is ask yourself that question and answer that to you, HONESTLY!

It's getting late for the video.

Watch it and enjoy!

Photograph Of Soul

Sunday, October 5, 2014
"Are you kidding?" You may think, but I'm not.

Photograph or no photograph, it is difficult to believe the existence of soul. The concept of SOUL itself is so weird.

We live in an era of so called science -- an era where proof is the basis of existence. If there is no proof, no body is willing to take look at a concept or thing. If this is science then what can be more unscientific?

Proof VS Perception

We can't deny the basis of Proof to determine the validity of  existence, but we have to go beyond that. If there is no perception, there is no need to seek proof. All the great discoveries and inventions were fast perceived, then proof was gathered. People of true scientific spirit never rested till they found the proof.

They never denied the existence of a thing before they could gather the proof.

Ancient beliefs about Soul

The perception of existence of SOUL is as old as the human civilization. Civilisations thrived  at different times at different geographical locations, told about the existence of an immortal being, the SOUL. And according to them, the body doesn't have the Soul, rather the soul as a body. The soul is the true being that resides in the body.

A detailed study in this regard can be found in the ancient Hindu text named "Srimadbhagabat Gita." Not only this holy booktalks about the existence of an entity called Soul,it keeps a deep insight into its  nature. in spite of all that, signs never accepted the existence of such a thing because they never found proof.

The proof of Soul

Now, thanks to  Electrophotonic Imaging (EPI), we can have the much awaited proof.

Applications of EPI  is the research into consciousness processes. Many years of experimentation have made it possible to identify bioelectrographic correlates of altered states of consciousness (ASC). These are particular states, which a person enters into  during meditation, religious ecstasy,  and when the brain is under the influence of drugs -- psychedelics or anesthesia.

The EPC method is based on the stimulation of photon and electron emissions from the surface of the object whilst transmitting short electrical pulses. In other words, when the object is placed in an electromagnetic field, it is primarily electrons, and to a certain degree photons, which are ‘extracted’ from the surface of the object. This process is called ‘photo-electron emissions’ and it has been quite well studied with physical electronic methods. The emitted particles accelerate in the electromagnetic field, generating electronic avalanches on the surface of the dielectric (glass).

Singing Crystal Bowls In Shamanic Meditation

Thursday, November 22, 2012
The use of singing bowls are ancient. The Tibetan Lamas used these for producing vibrating and spiraling sound waves for deep meditative trances.

However, Tibet isn't the only place where these bowls were used. In ancient Shamanic societies these were used for the same purpose.

These singing bowls were made up of high quality bronze. They have an inherent quality to produced prolonged vibrating  sound waves suitable for inducing trance states.

Similar to these, some cultures used crystal bowls for producing spiraling sound waves. This is a video where you can watch such a ritual with crystal bowls.

Watch and enjoy!
